World Summary

Vision

A world where change is embraced and exploitation is minimized mathematically. A governance system is built, designed to solve the problem of socio-economics.

Transformative technology

A decentralized machine learning based governance platform.

Solves governances’ limits, current bureaucratic systems can’t manage complex societies. By 2035, open-source ML networks quantify and redistribute power, expose hidden wealth concentrations, and enable transparent community self-governance at human scale through a democratic policy gradient.

What kind of AI exists in your world?

Tool AI, autonomous AI and robotics. It is built and designed locally for local needs. Information and education is sourced by utilizing a decentralized network based approach to information sharing. A decentralized web based approach to the spread of science and technology is engineered, and community ran datacenters parse and serve this information using local open sourced models. Resources are acquired locally from nearby communities who have automated its extraction.

New or Reformed Institution

Cockaigne Coalition – A federated open-source governance body composed of many locally elected technical councils. These councils are augmented with locally-run, open-source platforms for aggregating voter opinion. Its purpose is to maintain and audit the power-quantification algorithm, adjudicate disputes between governance cells, and prevent any single node from accumulating systemic control. Member communities contribute resources and data in exchange for participation rights.

Transformed Sector

geopolitics, governance, logistics, education, healthcare, work, food, transportation

By 2035, algorithmic transparency replaces opaque bureaucracy. Governance cells operate at human scale, small for accountability, networked for resilience. Logistics serves communities, mirroring Beer’s Cybersyn. Education and healthcare flow through open decentralized networks as public goods. Food and work are locally organized but globally coordinated. Geopolitics shifts from zero-sum competition toward cooperation, power concentrations become mathematically legible and politically untenable.

A Major Crisis Overcome

Monopolies outcompeted governments computationally, accelerating democratic collapse. The platform resolved this, but more importantly; it built infrastructure for humanity’s deeper problems. Climate treaties became enforceable through transparent tracking. Pandemic response became coordinated without centralized control. Poverty became computationally addressable. AI safety became globally coordinated. For the first time, the world had tools capable of matching the complexity of its own crises.
